About Me
Hi! My name is Michaela Triemstra, and welcome to my digital portfolio! I am currently studying English Language and Literature and Writing at Grand Valley State University. While at GVSU, I have been a copyeditor, reviewer, and writer for the InWriting newsletter, a fiction reader for the fishladder journal, a news writer for the GV Lanthorn, and an SE+ Student at the Mary Idema Pew Library.
I recently interned with
the Michigan travel website, MyMichiganBeach, where I was a content writer and my articles were posted on Google. I am so excited to continue to grow as a writer, and I have loved all of my writing experiences. My next step is to earn my MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis on Creative Nonfiction. I would love to work in editing and publishing one day to continue doing what I love.
