Work Experience

Since August of 2021, I have worked at the Mary Idema Pew library on Grand Valley's campus as an Access Services Student Assistant. In the Winter semester of 2022, I applied to be an SE+ (Student Employment Plus) student. I was awarded this position, and as a lead, I have trained new students, created professional development materials, and presented workshops about the processes we are a part of in the library.

During my time as a lead student, I have created and presented the Mailroom Workshop and The Journey of a Book Workshop. I have written two quizzes to help students with training: The Crane Room Quiz and Mailroom Quiz. I have made many "quick-checks" for both students and staff to ensure everyone has the information they need to complete certain tasks. These include the Shifting Quick Check, Clipboard Projects Quick Check, and Sorting and Delivering Mail Quick Check. I have also designed and made multiple buttons, which serves as incentives to master tasks on the job.

At this time, I cannot share copies of these professional development documents because of restricted access properties.

Below is my resume and documents of two job evaluations I have had with my supervisors.
